Carson McDowell acts on the sale of Custom House

Carson McDowell was delighted to recently act for the seller of Belfast’s iconic Custom House to a local property investment company. The grade B listed office building comprising almost 60,000 square feet was designed by Sir Charles Lanyon and built in the 1850’s. Dawson McConkey, who led on the transaction, commented: “This was a great deal to be involved with and is evidence that, despite all of the current uncertainties in the world, there remains a strong interest in good quality product. Our client was very pleased with the outcome achieved and we wish the buyer every success with one of Belfast’s most well-known and loved buildings going forward."
