Sophie Hanna

Sophie is a Solicitor in the Employment team. She joined Carson McDowell as a paralegal in 2014 and completed her training contract with the firm, qualifying in September 2018.
Sophie graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2011 with a degree in Law (LLB honours), followed by a masters at Queen’s University, Belfast in 2013. Sophie received her professional qualification from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in Belfast and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in September 2018.
Sophie works closely with Partner, Orlagh O’Neill, advising mainly employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters, including defending claims for employers in the Industrial Tribunal and Fair Employment Tribunal and policies, procedure and practice relating to contracts of employment.
