Carson McDowell Celebrates Pride 2026
At Carson McDowell, we are proud to mark and celebrate Pride.
At Carson McDowell, we recognise that every colleague brings their own experiences, perspectives, and story. These differences enrich our workspace, strengthen our culture and contribute to the continued success of our firm. Our Pride celebrations began in Dublin, where our team marked the occasion throughout June by taking part in a range of Pride initiatives and events, including the Outlaw Network Allyship Training session, the Dublin Pride Parade, and the Outlaw Pre-Pride Parade party.
Following the Dublin celebrations, our Belfast team continued the momentum with a series of activities designed to encourage connection, allyship and awareness across the firm. Our team kicked off the Belfast Pride Celebrations by participating in the Belfast Pride Run in Ormeau Park on Sunday 19 July.
The celebrations then continued in the office, where colleagues gathered for a coffee morning. The event provided a further opportunity to celebrate the importance of diversity and inclusion, while recognising the ongoing role businesses can play in supporting equality within the workplace and the wider community. This year’s coffee morning also marked our biggest turnout yet for this internal event, reflecting the growing engagement and support from colleagues across the firm.
The week concluded on Saturday 25 July, when Carson McDowell took to the streets of Belfast, filled with colour and excitement during the Belfast Pride Parade. With friends and family, our team joined The Law Society of Northern Ireland for brunch and networking with colleagues from across the legal sector. The parade was an important opportunity to celebrate progress, increase visibility and stand with the LGBTQ+ community. At Carson McDowell, it also reflects our wider commitment to building a culture where differences are valued and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Beyond the celebrations themselves, our Diversity & Inclusion Committee continues to play an active role in supporting initiatives that promote respect, understanding and belonging across the firm. Through events, awareness campaigns and ongoing conversations, we remain focused on ensuring our workplace is welcoming and supportive for all.
We are grateful to everyone who took part, supported the activities and helped us celebrate Pride across the firm.
