Carson McDowell Success at NI Dealmakers Awards 2021
Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the Corporate team at Carson McDowell had a busy year that ended ahead on the year-on-year business. Stand-out transactions included the acquisition of Armstrong Medical by Eakin Healthcare Group; the investment in Fibrus by InfraCapital; and the sale of James Leckey Design to Sunrise Medical.
Impressed judges recognised the team’s strength in depth and the range of niche specialisms, adding value to the firm’s corporate financial transactional work.
Carson McDowell also advised on the winning Deal of the Year (transaction size over £10m) for the sale of Armstrong Medical to Eakin Healthcare Group. The judges highlighted that the conjoining of two major indigenous healthcare businesses serves to further reinforce Northern Ireland’s reputation in this sector around the world.
