Cathal O'Neill anounced as new Northern Ireland President of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL).
Cathal O'Neill, a Partner and Co-Head of the Defence Insurance Litigation team at Carson McDowell, has been announced as the Northern Ireland President of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL).
Cathal, who joined the firm in 2017, specialises in the defence of employer's liability and public liability claims in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, with expertise in all industrial disease claims, policy disputes, defending fraudulent claims and recovery actions.
FOIL is the representative voice of the defendant insurance lawyer community, which advances a reforming agenda for a more transparent and proportionate claims environment that benefits claimants and insurers alike.
Following the announcement of his Presidency of FOIL Northern Ireland, Cathal O'Neill said:
I am honoured to have been nominated as the Northern Ireland President of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers. I look forward to working with the FOIL members across all jurisdictions next year and spearheading positive change within the insurance industry.
