Andrew Davison

Andrew graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Law (LLB honours) in 2010, before completing the postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Studies with the Institute of Professional Legal Studies at Queen's University, Belfast.

Having trained and qualified with another Belfast city-centre law firm, Andrew joined Carson McDowell’s Private Client team in September 2020.

Andrew provides assistance to clients in a wide variety of Private Client matters, including the preparation of Wills, Estate planning and implementation of Trusts. He provides advice and assistance in matters relating to the loss of capacity and management of personal affairs, including the execution and registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney and applications to the Office of Care and Protection for Controllership orders. Andrew also assists clients in Real Estate matters, acting in property sales and purchases, re-mortgage applications and the transfer of land and property as part of a wider estate planning process.

Andrew is an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and is working towards full TEP accreditation.
