Employment Solicitor

If you would like to join this excellent team and can meet the criteria listed below we want to hear from you:

  • 4-6 year PQE employment specialist.
  • Strong contentious and non-contentious employment law experience (including experience of providing employment support on corporate matters).
  • Ability to demonstrate deep understanding of areas including TUPE, collective redundancy, discrimination, industrial relations / trade unions.
  • Experience of complex employment policy and procedure (both review and redrafting).
  • Ability to juggle a large caseload of contentious matters for high profile clients, including the meeting of regular KPIs.
  • The ability and willingness to work as part of a team, but also with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, including confidence in public speaking.
  • Excellent technical and written skills, and attention to detail.


  • Dual qualification and practice experience (NI plus RoI).
  • Experience of advising employer clients on business immigration.

Debt Recovery Executive/PA

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Debt Recovery team and are currently recruiting for a Debt Recovery Executive/PA.

This opportunity will suit someone who has experience in Debt Recovery and in Small Claims, District Judges Court and County Court straightforward debt matters. Obtaining and enforcing judgments. We also want someone who is au fait with threatened insolvency actions in Bankruptcy and Winding Up and who can draft and serve Statutory demands. Ideally we would like someone who can liaise with clients directly, obtain simple debt instructions and act on those with minimal input initially.

Someone who has experience of higher volume repeat process debt and County Court work would be ideal.

Skills required:

  • IT Literate – familiar with case management systems.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with clients.
  • Good work ethic.
  • Approachable manner. Willingness to integrate in the firm.
  • Some knowledge of how solicitor accounts work, managing outlays and billing clients.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role desirable.
  • Ability to think on their feet and find solutions and the confidence to offer solutions.
