Carson McDowell contributes to the Clean Energy Tool launched by Simmons & Simmons
Carson McDowell is delighted to have contributed as exclusive authors of the Northern Ireland section of the Clean Energy Tool, launched by international law firm Simmons & Simmons.
The global demand for renewable energy is rising yet the legal and regulatory environment for developing clean energy infrastructure is complex and constantly evolving. The Clean Energy Tool has been developed to assist investors and developers with analysis and decision making, by providing online access to reliable and consistent legal and regulatory renewable energy data. The Clean Energy Tool also boasts a unique cross-jurisdiction comparison function to browse and compare renewable energy frameworks across multiple jurisdictions. Over 63 jurisdictions are covered to date across Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Latin America, with more to follow.
The Carson McDowell team contributors were led by Head of Energy, Neasa Quigley, and included contributions from Emma Cooper (Real Estate), Grant McBurney (Planning and Environmental), Sinead McGrath (Banking and Finance), Peter Guzhar (Dispute Resolution), John Dugdale (Construction) and Le-ann Campbell (Energy and Regulatory).
Many thanks to Alex Blomfield, Andrew Petry and the team at Simmons & Simmons for inviting us to contribute to this unique and worthwhile project. We were honoured to be involved and look forward to seeing it expand even further. To learn more about the Clean Energy Tool or to request a demonstration or trial, please click here.
