Le-ann is a Senior Associate in the Corporate team at Carson McDowell, with particular expertise in the energy and renewables sector.
Le-ann graduated with a First-Class Honours in Civil Law (BCL) from University College Dublin in 2009 and a Masters degree in Human Rights Law (LLM) from Queen’s University, Belfast in 2010. Le-ann obtained her professional qualification from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in Belfast in June 2014 after completing her legal training with a top tier law firm.
Le-ann joined the team at Carson McDowell in June 2015 and has experience in a wide range of corporate matters including company disposals, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder arrangements, corporate reorganisations and restructuring, private equity and venture capital.
She also has extensive experience advising developers, lenders and investors on innovative and multi-jurisdictional energy projects. Le-ann also advises clients on supply contracts, regulatory matters, joint venture agreements and the sale and purchase of renewable projects.
Le-ann is a member of the Renewable NI Small Scale Generation Committee and has been secretary for the Company Commercial Lawyers Group, Northern Ireland since 2018.
