Carson McDowell recently advised the developers of a 16MW biodiesel power plant in Northern Ireland on a significant project finance and equity investment by Kyotherm S.A.S

Carson McDowell was delighted to be involved in this renewable energy project which, when commissioned, will seek to provide essential support services to the electricity grids in both Northern Ireland and Ireland. When constructed, this project will facilitate more renewable energy projects coming onto the grid and contribute towards the development and delivery of a more secure and sustainable electricity system.”

The transaction, completed in March 2023 and was led by Neasa Quigley, Le-ann Campbell and Damian McElholm and represents another successful and significant renewable energy transaction for Carson McDowell’s Energy & Renewables team.
