Carson McDowell’s Dublin Team celebrates 10 years of serving the healthcare sector across Ireland
Carson McDowell is proud to celebrate ten years in Dublin, marking a decade of growth, investment and specialist client service in the healthcare sector across Ireland.
Since establishing its Dublin office in 2016, Carson McDowell has steadily expanded its presence in Ireland, with a strong focus on providing specialist legal services to healthcare and allied healthcare professionals. The appointments of Sinéad Keavey as Partner and Head of the Dublin Office in 2020, and Kathleen Byrne and Deirdre Ryan as Partners in 2022 and 2025 respectively, have helped build a team of more than 20 professionals. Today, the Dublin office plays a central role in the firm’s market-leading healthcare practice across the island of Ireland.
Over the past decade, the Dublin office has strengthened the firm’s ability to advise on complex, high-value and sensitive legal defence, regulatory and advisory matters, while working closely with clients to manage inquests, clinical claims and healthcare disputes in innovative and effective ways. The office relocation from Windsor Place to Northbrook Road reflects the continued growth and development of Carson McDowell’s Dublin presence.
The Dublin Healthcare Team’s bench strength has also been recognised externally, with Carson McDowell achieving its first ranking in the Chambers Europe Guide for Dispute Resolution: Healthcare Litigation in Ireland in 2026.
