Emily is a Senior Associate in the Healthcare team at Carson McDowell.
Emily attained a degree in Law (LLB honours) from Queen’s University, Belfast in 2012 and obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Studies in 2014. Emily was admitted as a solicitor in Northern Ireland in 2014 and worked at another Commercial law firm in Belfast, where she specialised in defence insurance litigation, primarily handling complex high-value and catastrophic personal injury claims on behalf of major insurance companies.
Emily joined Carson McDowell’s Healthcare team in January 2020. Emily acts on behalf of medical defence organisations and insurers, representing the interests of medical practitioners in clinical negligence claims.
