Acted as Northern Irish counsel for a US fund in relation to the Northern Irish components of the funding of the purchase of a leading Northern Irish hotel.

Advised Co-Ownership on its recent £65m private financing partnership with Bank of Ireland which will enable Co-Ownership to help over 1,000 new customers per year into affordable home ownership in Northern Ireland.

Acted for DunPort Capital, a leading provider of non-bank corporate and SME debt capital in the Irish market, in relation to its financing of the EasyGo Group, the largest electric vehicle charging point operator in Ireland.

Advised construction and property group Turkington in respect of its multi-million pound investment in the expansion of James Park in Portadown which was supported by Ulster Bank. The transaction enables the development of a 7,000 square metre logistics warehouse at Turkington’s Mahon Road site which has been future proofed by virtue of the inclusion of significant infrastructure for electric vehicles charging points.

Acted as Northern Irish counsel advising alternative lender, ThinCats, who supported the award-winning digital agency UNRVLD with its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Made to Engage Group Ltd. Made to Engage is a well-known digital agency which has platinum partner status with online optimisation platform Optimizely and operates offices in Belfast, London and Amsterdam.

Advised Evermore Developments Limited, which manages a combined heat and power biomass plant in Lisahally, Northern Ireland, on the refinancing of its senior and mezzanine debt. This transaction was particularly significant as the combined heat and power plant is the first of its kind on the island of Ireland and is expected to produce enough electricity during its lifetime to supply more than 25,000 homes.

Advised Linen Mill Studios Ltd, the developer of the landmark Game of Thrones Studio Tour in Banbridge, Northern Ireland, on a £10 million loan facility from Barclays Bank PLC.
