Hannah is an Associate in the Media, Communications and Reputation team.
Hannah graduated with a 2:1 in Law (LLB honours) from Queen’s University, Belfast in 2014. She completed her professional training in 2017 with a postgraduate diploma with commendation in Professional Legal Studies. She is also admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales.
Hannah is involved in all aspects of media law and litigation, including defamation, privacy, reputation management, data protection and pre-broadcast/pre-publication advice. She regularly provides advice and representation for a number of US headquartered social media platforms on legal issues in this jurisdiction.
Hannah provides ongoing advice and representation for the majority of local and regional news publishers operating in Northern Ireland, including providing support in relation to challenging reporting restrictions, matters of contempt of court and anonymity orders. Hannah also acts for and advises individuals and corporations on maintaining and defending their reputations.
