Rebecca Deans

Rebecca is a Solicitor in the Commercial Litigation team at Carson McDowell.

Rebecca graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2022 with a first-class honours degree in Law (LLB) and joined Carson McDowell as a Paralegal in April 2022. Rebecca commenced her training contract with Carson McDowell in September 2023 and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2025 having completed her period of apprenticeship and having obtained a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Belfast.

Rebecca is involved in all aspects of general commercial litigation and dispute resolution. She is known for being highly responsive, proactive and diligent, and for building strong working relationships with clients.

Rebecca also provides advice and support to energy-sector clients in relation to energy and environmental disputes. Clients have noted the value of having a single, reliable point of contact and have described her efficient contribution to project delivery as making a genuinely positive and “game‑changing” difference.
