Our Charity Law team regularly act for charities, not-for-profits, social enterprises, and other public-benefit organisations. We pride ourselves on understanding the third sector and the particular context in which our clients operate. We understand the highly regulated nature of the sector and are alive to the legal issues affecting charities.

The multi-disciplinary Charity Law team at Carson McDowell advises charities on a broad range of matters relating to charity law but also is engaged on a much broader scale by these clients. We work closely with our charity clients who approach us not only for charity law, governance and regulatory input but also in relation to any and all matters upon which the organisation may require legal advice from time to time including (but not limited to) employment, real estate, sensitive litigation, finance and commercial contracts.

Our charity solicitors act for charities across a number of sectors, including many well-known household names. We have particularly developed an aptitude for representing charity clients who operate in the Education sector.
