Rosie is a Senior Associate in the Corporate team at Carson McDowell. She qualified as a solicitor in 2014 after completing her training with the firm and became a Senior Associate Solicitor in 2022.
Rosie has extensive experience in corporate matters, advising clients on the sale and acquisition of companies and businesses, corporate reorganisations and shareholder matters. She is included as a “key lawyer” for Corporate M&A in The Legal 500 guide. Rosie also provides advice on a range of matters to clients in the charity and public sector including corporate governance advice regarding structure, legal compliance, registration with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland and the public benefit requirement. In addition, she provides trustee governance training to charity and third-sector boards in respect of their statutory, contractual, regulatory and fiduciary duties and how to discharge these duties.
Rosie is active within the charitable sector in Northern Ireland. She devises and delivers the corporate governance training programme to incoming charitable trustees placed with the Young Professionals on Arts Board programme run by Arts and Business Northern Ireland. She has significant experience on charity Boards across Northern Ireland, winning the “Inspirational Trustee” award at the Arts and Business Awards 2021. She is currently a Trustee of the Board of the Lyric Theatre Belfast.
