Rosie is a Partner in the Corporate team at Carson McDowell. She qualified as a solicitor in 2014 after completing her training with the firm, was promoted to Senior Associate Solicitor in 2022 and subsequently became a Partner in 2025.
Rosie has extensive experience in corporate matters, advising clients on the sale and acquisition of companies and businesses. Rosie is a key member of our Governance, Risk and Compliance team, assisting clients on reorganisations, shareholder matters and a broad range of corporate advisory matters, including board training and workshops.
She is included as a “key lawyer” for Corporate M&A in The Legal 500 guide and an “Associate to Watch” in Chambers. Feedback from clients in the legal guides includes “Rosie is dynamic, highly skilled and incredibly responsive” and “A first-class associate, highly professional, calm under pressure, applies a high level of attention to detail and is very commercial. Rosie also provides advice on a range of matters to clients in the charity and public sector, including governance advice regarding structure, legal compliance, regulatory matters and the public benefit requirement. In addition, she provides governance training to charity and third-sector boards.
Rosie is active within the charitable sector in Northern Ireland. She has significant experience of serving on charity Boards across Northern Ireland, and former winner of the “Inspirational Trustee” award at the Arts and Business Awards. She is currently a Trustee of the Board of the Lyric Theatre Belfast.
