Ciara Cornyn

Ciara graduated from the National University of Ireland Maynooth (NUIM) with a LLB degree in 2018. Prior to commencing her training contact Ciara worked as a Legal Review Analyst in a top 5 law firm in Dublin. Ciara commenced her training contract in 2021 with a European law firm. Ciara was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in the Republic of Ireland in 2023 and the Role of Solicitors in Northern Ireland in 2024.

Ciara has experiencing in acting on behalf of public bodies and regulators in relation to all aspects of their statutory function, practice, procedure, investigations and enforcement.

Ciara joined Carson McDowell in July 2024 and specialises in defending medical professionals who are the subject of professional disciplinary inquiries and investigations. Ciara also assists doctors and other healthcare professionals in relation to inquests.
